Mission Wallet!

It is still quite silly carrying it either in the front or back pocket. Unless you are wearing cargo pants all the time and this goes into the side pocket.

I’m back from the Blade Show! Jason, thanks -- what a great idea this was! The materials and workmanship are excellent.

I hit BladeArt and picked up a few "necessary" items … including two Mission Wallets … but I was polite! I asked first if it would be antisocial to scarf up an extra and leave some other poor knife knut without one

That night I wanted to see what all it would hold. Credit and ID in the outer pocket. Bills folded in half and change in the zipped pocket. Space pen and (new) Pro-Tech tanto in the slots. (This is a 3.5" handle, 2.5" blade.)

Nothing silly at all about a wallet in a front pocket. I was born and raised in New York City and I have seen some pretty big wallets coming out of front pockets, which is a lot better than sitting on a lump like that! Or supporting the light-fingered set. I generally wear pants with mini-cargo pockets on the thigh, just the right size for the Mission Wallet.

Get out there and get one if you can. These are sweet.

Ain't enough room in the front of our pants for no sissy wallet. Them front pockets is just fer show.

That's what DIETS are for!;) :p ;)

Thanks for the good review Ed! I would have handed them out free for the chance to have been at the show!!:D :D :D

I just yesterday received my Mission wallets, and they are quite nice. The construction seems very sound, and the leather is very soft, and lined throughout. My small classic sebenza fits very nicely into the knife pocket, and the pen [Fisher telescoping space pen] fits fairly well in the pen pocket. I can even keep my cash in the wallet, if I fold the money small enough- another 1/8 or 3/16 in. would make the cash fit just right. One of my favorite things is that now I don't make unwanted noises when I walk around. :D That is, the change is kept quiet in the wallet.

Thanks, Jason, you've done well with this thing, I'm real happy with it.

I picked one up at blade from Larry at Bladeart and I carried it all weekend in my fron pocket. It felt alot more secure and less bulky than my regular wallet in my back pockett. It holds alot and I was surprised about that.... now about the larger version set up as a bifold with the pocketts..... :D

Very cool indeed. Seems like just the thing that I need to help with going to some of the govermental buildings around here so I can just throw my wallet in the tray at the metal detector instead of spending 5 minutes emptying all my pockets.

I didn't see this on the bladeart website though, anybody got a link???

Thanks for the heads up on it.

Brothers & Sisters of Pocket Protection,

Take a look at these:

http://specopsbrand.com/

Look under wallets. (Wallet, Checkbook Wallet, etc.)

A trick I've used is to carry two wallets. (With all due respect to New Yorkers; and yes, a wallet should be carried in front!)
The obvious carry is full of those junk cards from the mall. Idiotic business cards and a few bills for the sake of propriety.
N.B. In all the years I've carried this way I've never been approached. Must be that punk "street radar" at work! (Or maybe they can detect the 40 years of martial arts training and thirty years in LE. Go figure!)

There are also the ankle wallets, shoulder holster wallets, neck wallets, security belts, double pocket divisions...Or leaving your wallet in the locked glove box and only carrying plastic; i.e. driver's license and charge cards. Nah! On second thought carry the whole works: wallet, cuffs, badge, auto, knife, ammo, holster, checkbook, notebook, pens and a salt/pepper camp container!

Whatever works!

Regards,
Lance Gothic

Exactly how high do you wear yer pants? I thought they was just to cover yer butt & yer privates!!!
 :D

Seriously, you guys complain about sitting butt-down on a wallet being uncomfortable? What the heck does it feel like wrinklin' one up in yer frontside?

I do the same down here . . . it is common to get robbed and most will leave if you have a little bit of cash. I carry a "security wallet" and two "mission wallets" . . . cards and cash (and KNIVES!)in each.:D :D :D

Hey Jason...

Sent out the $$$ to get one of the brown Mission Wallets the other day... I went to work today and found out I won a $25 gift certificate to out local mall. I'm going to buy my First Space pen, to go along with First Mayo TNT, along with my First Mission Wallet!!!

I'm pretty much set!

Thanks for the great idea on this wallet... I always come home and sit in my Laz-e-Boy chair, and all of my change falls out andf goes through the chair... Then I hear my dog Ruger Chomping on my quarters and dimes.... Not good for his teeth!

Just another added bonus for the practicality of this wallet! can't wait to get mine.

Hey, the wallet looks great! Others have asked what they are selling for and still no replies. Can some one post a price on these or please email me a price.
Thanks
Shannon

Chris, a large woody would be a stretch. I'm carrying my small classic in it now, although the Umfaan fit nicely. A large really fits tightly, and sticks out past the top of the wallet.

Hey Jason...

Just got my Mission Wallet today. I love it. I am using the zipper pouch for 'non-essentials' (things I don't take out of my wallet often) and some change. I keep my bills in a money clip. Also have my small Sebenza with Mastadon Ivory overlay and new space pen in there, and can still fit 4 credit cards and my drivers license in the credit card slot. The zipper pouch fits my CWP and fishing/hunting license holder perfectly as well.

Good Job, my man. You designed it perfectly! Also, It is comfy in front or back pocket carry-mode.

I don't think my large TNT will fit it :( but I guess I'll carry the wallet and Seb in my left pocket and the Mayo in my right.

**** guys, get one of these... they are awesome! **** Also, the proceeds when purchased through Jason go directly to help out people in need in Central America.

Thanks Jason.
