Mississippi Knifemakers Assoc. & Bladezealot, THE BEST!

My partner (V-Man) and I got up early this morning to trek down to Jackson, MS to catch the last day of the first annual Mississippi Knifemakers Show. We were recieved with warm hospitality and met some really nice and great Mississippi knifemakers and knife collectors.

We had a great time and we saw/handled several beautiful knives and coveted over Russell's collection. Sorry we couldn't make both days. Russell maybe you can post a report of all that were there from the MKA.

yes those guys down in jackson and the surrounding area are a great bunch of guys....very warm, genuine, and full of hospitality.....i had planned to attend the entire show this past weekend but a colleague had a family emergency and i had to cover his medical practice for four days.....therfore i couldnt get down there and be in memphis at the same time...its impossible to be in two places at once....i am sorry i missed the show and was really looking forward to attending....hopefully next year i will be able to attend

Sorry I am just now posting, I thankyou for the kind words and Yourself and Vance for coming down. We were quite pleased with the outcome of the show. Everyone really enjoyed your participation and look forward to your return.

We will be doing it again September 14-15th, 2002. Should be even better!!
