Missouri River hike

On a lighter note, Rocket has now completed his Indian head dress for his Village People tribute band.

Nice pics Rocket. Cool thing about nature is you can take a pic of just about anything and it’s beautiful.

Great pictures. Looks to me like that sand has a ton of ore in it. Black sand or rusty looking sand is the first good sign.

Next time take a magnet with you and check.

Thanks for the compliments on the photography... Like I was telling some people last night, those 14 pictures were out of about 150 shots during the hike. There might be a few more that are presentable but I still take piles of really crappy photos. If ya'll want you can look at them in much higher resolution at my smugmug pagehttp://starkfiles.smugmug.com/A-Change-of-Seasons/Winter-2010/15145395_t9N5o#1177726246_TW776 Pictures from this hike start on that page near the bottom.(yeah I'm totally pimping my picture site, click on lots of pictures so the stats go up and make me feel good about myself! :D )

Also there are more people from Nebraska here than I thought.
