I am sorry for the misunderstanding of my post. This article was written about knives and aviation and the relationship between them. Apparently it was not understood. Lets end it.

Sharplady,

Please do not be hurt. It seems that there are mysterious rules of etiquette wherever we go. I for one have run afoul of such rules many times. Fortunately, I am so dense that most of the time I don’t even realize it.

I think that if you hang around for a short while you will soon make sense of this place.

Let me welcome you also, Sharplady. As one of the few women here it is nice to see another joining the fold.
Please post again, we need more estrogen here...

I emailed sharp lady early this morning and relayed the same basic message as I posted in the initial thread. She replied and explained that it was not meant to be a tacky play on JFK jr recent death just really bad delivery. Some of the replies also boardered on completely tasteless by the way.

I explained to her that the Knife and gun community (which often seems to overlap) can be pretty protective of our image and do not need any one giving us bad PR. I also informed her that the CQC7 is now being produced by Emerson and not Benchmade. I hope that she will stay and learn here and add to our pool of knowledge. I think she will carefully think out any future posts to avoid any more incidents like the first. How about a second chance for a first impression? Chris in MO
