sorry for your loss, but this seems to be that time. we've had 4 pass in the past couple of weeks (including my g-gma and g-uncle, and my wifes g-uncle), all of old age, but it starts to wear you down. All are off to a better place and wish yours the same.

It's always hard losing someone, especially someone who's helping you through such personal struggle. I lost my grandfather last year and my biggest regret is he didn't live long enough to see me get sober and get my life back on track.
