Greetings All.
Hope this finds you all well.
Offering up a group of six knives. For each, I shall endeavor to provide both a fair description, as well as honest price...or is it the other way around? PM ONLY. Please don’t step on my post. First ‘I’ll take it” post wins!
1. Stromberg Competition Style Chopper. Sweden.
Sweet Chopper. Never used. Very sharp. Blade: 9.5; OAL: 14. Handle is micarta & padavk wood.
Comes with zipper pouch. Warts: None, except handle is too small for my hands, which are larger than average. SPF ($150).
2. FOBOS Tier 1 Mini. Tennessee.
Gorgeous, beautiful knife. Blade: 4; OAL: 8.75. Handle is rough-cut, natural micarta with white liners. Jimping everywhere. No sheath. Incredible knife for price. SOLD ($120).
Warts: Still untouched, but factory edge is not very sharp.
3. Dawson Pequeno. Arizona.
Nice little EDC Barry Dawson. Blade has Arizona Gold finish, & is 3.25; OAL: 6.75. Handle is nice & fat; red & black G10. Disappears in the hand. Comes with a clever belt loop Kydex taco Sheath. Warts: None. Box has tape on it. I just can’t dig coated blades...SOLD ($100).
4. Hyken Harpoon. Michigan.
I believe Mr Hyken is the top sheath maker at Bark River. Beautiful, well balanced knife. Unsharpened Swedge. Blade: 4.5; OAL: 8.5. Handle is antique micarta. No sheath. Warts: This knife has been used as a steak knife several times, and blade shows some marks, and factory edge now needs sharpening. SOLD ($100).
5. Hyken Bushcrafter. Michigan.
Same as No. 4, above, except Blade: 4; OAL: 8.25. Handle is black micarta. This knife is amazing. Same Warts, also: steak knife, needs sharpening, etc. Comes with gorgeous leather sheath. SOLD ($140).
6. Bark River Skeleton Occipital. Michigan.
So, if you feel the very back/bottom of your skull (I’ll wait), that little triangular thing that sticks out is called the Occipital bone. So...yeah.
Anyhoo, Blade: 3.25; OAL: 6.5. Handle is Ghost Green Jade G10. Beautiful leather sheath. Interesting little niche knife. Jade G10 is tremendous. Never used. Factory edge. Warts: None. Cool knife; just...odd. SOLD ($100).
