Used to play professionally as a side gig for 10 years through to my late 20’s. I had to quit when I became a single parent.

not really, but sort of. I’m realizing as I get older, that I’m probably a bit on the autistic spectrum. Not enough for a simple diagnosis, but definitely strong traits. I see music almost like graphic waveforms and tones are colors. Like the EVH “brown sound.” It’s brown to me too.

I experience colors and shapes as emotions, not sounds. Art really resonates. Not willing to spend the money on it, but I FEEL it deeply.

There is a PRS Ted talks, and he shows a waveform of his guitar sound. That is the closest I can come to explaining it. Not the same shape or color, but the same idea. I’ll find it and link it.
