MK VI or Mountaineer II

What will be a better all purpose fixed blade blade knife, the MK VI or the Mountaineer II? It lookes the the basic differences are that the MK VI is heavier, has a double guard, and a more secure sheath. Is there anything else that I should consider?
 
I've had both. I think you've pointed out alll of the basic differences between the two. The only thing I'd add is that the Mountaineer has a higher grind and therefore performs a little better for some cutting chores.
 
Single gaurd is nice for knowing which side is the business side in the dark! There is no indictator on the Mark VI like on the project I and II
