Chris Reeve Small Regular Pheasant Tail
This one is a user and has many stories to tell, they just were not all with me. I took tons of pics and a video. If you have any questions or want additional pics of something, just ask. There are no date codes in the scales as this is one of the oldest CGG made. The Pheasant Tail was offered with 2 different groups of CGG several decades ago. Blade Steel is BG42. Very smooth opening. One of the smoothest I have ever handled. Detent isn’t as strong as some others but it stays securely closed. Like a lighter detent Hinderer perhaps…..Wether you decide to keep it as is or send it for the spa service CRK offers is a personal choice. They do work wonders with used CRK and make them look new to near new again. No BD card or paperwork. Personally I like the design itself more than it being minty but that’s a personal choice. I realize the price is steep but in my 25+ years of buying CRK, I might have had the chance to buy less than a dozen. Most are gone before I ever saw them. That speaks to its rarity and how people hang on to them. Myself included
