yeah just another
"look at my new knife post"
but i'm really excited about this one. and matt is such a great craftsman.
http://www.mlknives.com/
so easy to work with, and willing to create knives that may not be in his
"standard" repertoire.
not likely to ever have the $ for an original scagel(and would i if i had that amount o cash...?)
and since matt has been my "goto" blade guy for some time
it seemed an obvious route for something along those old lines...
know many of you enjoy using ml knives
thought some of ya'll might enjoy a peek at this one in progress....

yessiree, it will get used in the woods

I love it!!! That will be a very useful knife in the woods. I love those deep bellied blades.

That knife looks great.

I suspect it will be a savage user.

 Deer crown pommel?

I really like that knife. Matt is also my go to knifemaker anytime I want a knife made with 1095 which is my favorite carbon steel. I think I have around 20 to 25 knives from him and each one is very unique in their own way. Anytime I think a good friend or some family member deserve a special gift I give Matt a call and he always comes through for me.
