TRADITIONAL STYLE CLIP POINT- VINTAGE CHESTNUT -CLASSIC GRIP
Outstanding knife, with a nice traditional style slight clip point blade design. Vintage Reclaimed American Chestnut Handle, double brass pinned. Has really nice character and original coloring that will only get better with time. Classic style Birds beak grip. Chestnut is almost extinct at this point Very beautiful appearance and texture. If you love traditional, steel, firearms, History or the outdoors this knife will be great for you. Designs such as this one have been used and carried for many years and will serve well today. Great for your Black powder or hunting season. Great all around design for deer camp, cabin. Really Nice Pattern & Patina aged blade finish, Has the look of a vintage wheel gun or lever action. Forged from 1095 high carbon steel. Spine/Tang about 1/8" thick tapering top tip and sharp enough for ferro rod use. Blade width about 1 7/16″ at widest point. Handle length about 4 7/8″ long. Blade about 4 5/16", convex ground & Sharpened from tip to hilt. Overall about 9 1/4″. Handcrafted, antiqued & distressed, leather belt sheath with a nice grain to the sheath. Will fit a belt up to 2 1/4" wide. Sheath is signed and dated on backside.
