I got this yesterday and was able to get out and use it today. This one really lends itself perfectly to "bushcraft" type work. The high flat grind and semi convexed edge really bites into wood.

The pointy tip drills some nice holes to

I really like the Micarta scales, they are hand filling with just the right amount of contouring

I also asked Matt if he could put a firesteel loop on the sheath

This was cool, the tree has grown around the rock

Great pics, thanks for the review. I've been staring at that knife on his site for quite a while, looks perfect for the woods.

I really like his stuff, I think as soon as I get some fnds together I'll give him a call

man.. those knives are cool... you had to go and post those pics didn't you T...:o now i want one even more...:D

Nice did you go with the walnut handle?
I will be doing a review on the ML Kephart in the next couple of weeks.

Actually it's Micarta. I noticed Matt had it as an option, and thought it would be perfect on this knife.

I was thinking of going with wooden handles, as it would suit the "rustic" look. But that micarta looks great. Matches very nicely.

Nice pics Tknife!

I have been spending a lot of time with my ML Woods and Bush lately. It is a very useful blade.
