I was recently introduced, to one of BladeForums exceptional service providers (by BF Member, BigLou); I ended up making a new friend, whom I have the utmost respect for. Below, is a link to MMans0311 (Mark Mansfield) BF page, & a pasted copy of some of the services/products that he provides (please check the awesome pictures that have been posted by some of his happy customers in his thread):

The KNIFE BURRITOS will be $22 via PayPal shipped within the US. I currently have several options on hand and ready to ship(see below). I will also accept custom orders of any material (within reason) you may have. KNIFE BURRITOS are also being offered by member Spketch with his custom hand made scales.
Also available, i have hand made EDC style hanks. I call them "Shank Hanks". These make great back drops for pics as well. My SHANK HANKS measure 11"×11" I finish up edges with an catching zig-zag stitch. And like the KNIFE BURROTO, if you have an idea for a hank feel free to ask. SHANKS HANKS are $15 or 2 for $25. You can browse this thread for pictures to see the variety of SHANK HANKS! ! !

♧♧♧♧♧ ACID ETCH AND STONEWASH ♧♧♧♧♧
Acid Etch and stonewash service with a "Wicked Edge", please email me for pricing and scheduling. I offer less than a week turn a round and great pricing for "ESW". After tumbling (for stonewash effect) your edge will be restored to a "mirror edge" using a WICKED EDGE sharpening system. I offer deals on multi0les for this service. Please browse thread to see ETCH & STONEWASH jobs i have done.

A brief summary of my experience dealing with, Mark:

It was such a pleasure, meeting such a great person, along with receiving 2 of MM's, awesome knife burrito's.
It was a very positive experience, dealing with such an organized, professional service provider. Communication was clear & constant, throughout our transaction. ****Even though MM, sustained a fairly serious injury (nearly severed part of his index finger), shortly after placing my order; Mark, manned up (just like you'd expect a USMC Veteran to do), & didn't miss a beat. He is truly a class act, & an asset to this forum!

To the member's here, who value their knives, & want to keep their collection pieces in pristine condition: MM's, Hank Shanks, & Knife Burrito's, are a wonderful product, & do just that!

For those of you who don't this: Mark, was/is a United States Marine Corp 0311 infantryman, who served our Country bravely in, Fallujah, Iraq, back in 2006. Fallujah, as many of you know, saw some of the fiercest fighting during our conflict with, Iraq. Mark, was set to embark on a second deployment with his unit (this time to Afghanistan), however due to injuries he sustained while in Fallujah, he was subsequently medically/honorably discharged.

We shared a couple of dozen emails (along with this transaction). Mark, shared a picture from when he was stationed while in Fallujah. You could tell, that Mark, is one tough guy- the type of guy you can depend on. Mark is also a father/family man, & just a super nice person.

As we got to know each other, Mark, recommended 2 incredible, compelling books that were written by couple of his Semper Fi Brothers (No True Glory, & My Men Are My Heroes). I have actually purchased both of these book's, & I'm in the process of being given an incredible history lesson, to such a complex, brutal war.

In parting, I would like to say: "THANK YOU," Mark, for the brave service you have given, fighting for our Country. Word's could even begin to scratch the surface, for how much respect, that I have for you! I hope someday, that I'm able to meet you in person, shake your hand, & thank you personally! I salute you!

I wish you the best of luck, on these innovative, knife related endeavors!

It's these type of people that you meet, that make BladeForums, such a special, awesome place!

Wow...thank you sooo much for all the knice things said above and the review of my sevices/ handmade items. You were also a pleasure to deal with and i am glad you like your Knife Burritos!
Im not one for "social media" or anything like that, but since logging on to Bladeforums almost a year ago it has been part of daily routine. I have met a lot of great guys through this forum and im sure i will meet several more!
Thanks again John time and efforts for this post, and it has been a pleasure knowing/meeting you as well.....
I would also like to take this opportunity to THANK Bladeforum member Steve Ketchen aka Spketch of SKETCHEN SCALES. Several months ago Steve and i did a trade for an Emerson CQC14 "Snubby", and i shipped it to him wrapped in a fleece hank. Shortly then after he informed me that i was on to something. Soon after i started paying more attention to detail and quality. It was then Steve encouraged me to "go orange" (service provider). Next "WE" introduced the "original" KNIFE BURRITO to BF.....THANK YOU for your encouragement and friendship. Its always a pleasure to see the text "call?" (Followed by phone call to or from Spketch)

Always a pleasure chatting with you!

I'll echo Kelama's sentiments regarding Mark's character. He is 100% solid and a great guy all around.
