MMD available?

It was available at Knob Creek, no one knows if it will go into production.

I hate when they do that. that's a bad ass blade and would sell out. I really want one and I will probably never get one. I use my blade too so its not like it would sit in a safe.

If it does come out, that will be one swamp rat knife I will buy the moment they release it. I wasn't able to buy it when a few members sold it on the forum after knob creek (bad timing).

I really...really hope swamp rat makes more, especially with those grooves on the blades.

Does this happen a lot?
Designing a great knife with an excellent steel for the intended use and not putting it into production?

This would be crazy

I agree. This would be a huge cash cow if they put it into production. It will also be equally a huge mistake if they don't put it into production.

With any luck the MMD will be one of the first "Operation Two Weeks" offers from the Swamp!

The knives will be put up for approx. 2 weeks or less and will be very limited in number.

Very limited in number means zero chance for those in Europe to order one :(

Edit

Just saw the "Operation Two Weeks" consists of knives made out of SR101
It's the SR77 what draws me to the mountainmandu.
If this 10 inch blade comes in SR101 it looses most of it's appeal to me :(

I really hope the mountainmandu will be offered in the swamrat store in the current configuration

I don't understand the relation between Europe and limited number, i'm an old customer from France and i never had trouble to buy what i want

Just being out working for about 12h a day, a lot to do when you are finally home and the time difference makes that some don't have the time to do ganza's :(

Why is that? S7 may be tougher, but 52100 has better edge holding, no?

Correct 52100 has better edge holding, but S7 is much tougher :D

I have plenty of knives with excellent edge holding, I want a badass chopper in a very very tough steel.

Where are you from?
Ganza time in France is 3am, not a very usual time to work, and there is cool guys around here that can help much :)

I agree with 52100, better edge holding but i broke a .25 knife with my "normal" bodyweight

Belgium as in my location.
3am means almost no time to sleep, mostly begin my day at 4.30 am.

If you can score a Mountainmandu I'm very happy to buy it from you :D

Neo, you could always set up a trusted American connection where that American will score the ganzaa for you and ship it over when the time comes.
