MMD available?

Correct 52100 has better edge holding, but S7 is much tougher :D

I have plenty of knives with excellent edge holding, I want a badass chopper in a very very tough steel.

So, the tougher part would make the S7 easier to resharpen, yes?

The operation "2 Weeks" is not a ganza type thing. Numbers do not appear to be greatly limited but the time they are offered, eg offered for TWO WEEKS, and everyone who places an order in that TWO WEEKS should get a blade, not first in first serves like a Ganza.

That should be good for the guys on a different time cycle to the US !!

Where are you from?
Ganza time in France is 3am, not a very usual time to work, and there is cool guys around here that can help much :)

I agree with 52100, better edge holding but i broke a .25 knife with my "normal" bodyweight

What knife, who heat treated it? Alloy choice is only part of it. Heat treat is very important when it comes to strength and durability. A properly designed and heat treated knife in 52100 shouldnt break from normal body weight i wouldnt think.

Maybe stabbing the tip into a board and jumping up and down on it or something would break it... but just normal weight applied when cutting ?

I put 1.5 inches of a 711 in a tree and tried to climb on it, but it was old and very abused for a very long time so maybe that's why it failed
(Thanks to scrapyard for replacing it)
