I just had a bad experience with MMHW knives and was wondering if this is a trend in quality slipping. I recently purchased an Assassin from a dealer. Well I never saw such poor work. Where the grind for the blade first started instead of one smooth cut there was a major slip with metal removed all the way to the edge, making a deep gorged out area. Well I have two of Mr. Frizzell's knives and had found them well made. So I assumed the dealer was selling me a second. When I contacted the dealer he seemed surprised and said that he didn't sell seconds and to return it at his cost. I then sent emails to Mr. Frizzell at two different addresses in Dec. I never received any reply from him. The dealer has since told me that he has stopped selling MMHW knives but doesn't want to say why. So what gives, just workmanship becoming shoddy or does Mr. Frizzell not care about his repeat customers?

If someone wants to defend him, I would like to know what happened as MMHW doesn't seem to want to reply.
