Right now, for the forseeable future, I can't afford an Mnandi, but I still want one. I had one with cocobolo scales, if I remember correctly. Nice little knife, but too small for my big paws. Got traded off for something else. Now, I want one again. I've been carrying similar sized slipjoints, and really like the utility and appearance of the Mnandi. Just to humor me, please post pics of yours, and what you use them for (EDC, dress, up on a shelf :D).

The Mnanadi seems to be getting a lot of love of late, and well deserved it is too. :)

Coming right up! My mnandi is my EDC, I use it primarily to open boxes and letters and anything else that needs cutting. Hope you get one in your hands soon.

I've also been on the hunt for a mnandi. Seems not a lot of people get rid of them so probably have to buy a brand new one. The cocobolo wood is nice but I've been eyeing the desert ironwood.

This is my one and only mnandi. I haven't really used it yet. This one has desert ironwood scales. Picked it up from the forums too.

I've been eying the Mnandis up too. Will probably pull the trigger on one in the near future. The Macassar Ebony looks really nice to my eyes.

I got the snakewood Mnandi (left hand) as my first CRK. I was literally stunned by its beauty and precision craftsmanship. I now have a small Sebenza as well, but I must say my absolute favorite of all blades I have is still the Mnandi.

I carry the Mnandi almost everyday for typical EDC uses around city/office environment. I say almost because I just have to force myself to give some love to other blades. But often I still carry the Mnandi in addition to other blades because it's still the best "people friendly" knife I've got. And above all I just love the look and that ever smooth operation. I will never part with it.

Some beautiful looking knives. So hard to narrow it down to one wood.
What wood is that SharpDog? Love the color on that.

Thanks...that is Ironwood. It was from a hand selected batch of wood that Plaza Cutlery sent to Anne Reeve.

I recently sold this knife to another collector.

Yea, I remember hearing about that. Presentation Ironwood. I wonder if
they'll ever do something like that again. I live about an hour away from
cutlery plaza. Great people and their shop is amazing.

SHS -- good luck with your search! The Mnandi's a real favorite of mine as well. It simply out-classes all other gentlemens'/purse knives on the planet.

I EDC this one:

Here's my daughter's EDC: pink-dyed box elder. This was a special -- never a regular offering:

I think snakewood's way classy. Gave this one to my brother:

Thanks everyone, keep 'em coming. Fooj, I know you don't work there anymore, but you took care of me man when I called. I still appreciate that. I really wish I would've kept all of the CRK's I've traded. The Mnandi was but one of many.

This is an insanely nice pair.

Yes, it it! Mnandi is mine, Sebenza belongs to my very good friend, who lives 5 min. drive from my home. So those blades are "separated" but they meet quite often and cut things together ;) My buddy EDCs this Sebenza 90% of time and he use it for almost anything that requires cutting (just cutting, no abuse). I carry my Mnandi almost every day as an "office backup" next to my Sebenza. It's much more "friendly looking" than Seb, so I use t quite often. Only I got a second blade (S30V) for edc'ing my Mnandi and the damascus I keep only for "black tie" events. Yeah, it's a nice pair indeed :)
