Mnandi--I Just Submitted an Order for my First One

2Dead- what is the one you have in the middle? Loving how that wood looks.

Agggh, missed out on thomason's sale :barf: Really curious about a mnandi, definitely want to pick one of these up sometime soon, but the hunt is on for something else first.

Great pics everyone

The Mnandi has made it home. Although we just met, I feel like I have known her in a past life somewhere... Anyway, she is a thing of beauty. You really need to handle one to understand what the fuss is all about. I laid out my CRK cloth and set her next to her bigger comrade--the Small Sebenza 21 Insingo--truly two of the most beautiful, well-made, and well-designed knives available. I took several pictures, but could not get them to upload--i will try again tomorrow.

Top to bottom is Desert Ironwood, Camel Thorn, and then Mammoth Ivory.

I love the look on the Mnandi and have had a few, but I keep having to admit that it is too small :)

Out of all of CRKs designs, the Mnandi would be the one I'd go for.I don't have much use for the big boys anymore, that one seems to me a nice size. But hey,I daily carry a Case Damascus Peanut,so even a Mnandi might seem large.

That is a nice one. :)

That knife has the new pivot pin ? Any chance of a few close ups ?

Very Nice!

Just for grins, the pics of the one I'm waiting for are here. I think I'm going to love it too.

Fellow CRK brothers and sisters,

I just ordered a new Mnandi with Bocote handles from an online shop. I had some trepidation about the purchase and was vascillating between a small Sebenza 21 w/ wood inlays, but ultimately went with the Mnandi. I already own two small Sebenzas (plain and Insingo) so I wanted to add another style to my carry. I am really looking for moral support that I made the right decision as well as anyones experiences they have had using the Mnandi for light cutting tasks (boxes, tape, miscellaneous).

Congrats! The Mnandi will do most any cutting chore you have. I have used mine to cut cardboard, tape, whittle, sharpen pencils and everything that my small sebbie has done. The ease of carry is what has me hooked on the Mnandi. Easily opened with one hand too. One thing to take comfort in is that the secondary market for Mnandis is pretty good right now, so if you are not happy with your purchase, someone would likely take it off your hands.
