Mnandi: My latest Obsession

Sad to see this last one go, but to a good home for sure and the best mnandi collection in the world!
 
I need another style damascus and scale Mnandi.

Something similar to this would probably fit your collection nicely. Ladder looks better on Mnandis than Sebenzas, IMHO.

^^^ I agree about the Ladder Damascus... my favorite damascus (aside from ROF obviously) haha. I'll be happy to take the Lignum Vitae off your your hands. :D
 
This thread drives me nuts. IMHO, the Mnandi is the most beautiful and elegant of all CRK's. I sold the one I had because it's just too small for me and I have regretted it ever since. I wish CRK made a bigger version... :(

I drool over the Mnandis in this thread often. Some here are absolutely stunning. The one LW posted above is one such example as well as many others posted, and of course the ROF's, and the Mammoths, etc...

I need another Mnandi... :)
 
Of all my folders my Mnandi snake wood from 2010 would be the last to go. If I ever lost it it would definitely be missed. It's extremely smooth and easy to keep a sharp blade. Greatest work of Chris Reeves.
 
Damn, a lot of fine Mnandi in here. Have not been on here in a long time - nice to look back to reminisce, and see this thread still going strong still.

I just got to post this one, a no-doc Box Elder that I just got. I had no real expectations of it from the sales pics, just got it because the price was right. But them I opened the box and....... :eek: :eek: :eek:

Even my Siamese had to get a closer look! :D

Are you sure it is a Box Elder, beautiful!
 
Hey LW, that does not look like the typical BE. It looks gorgeous whatever it is, with a lively burl coloration.
 
Yes, it's BE. A little more Box Elder and less burl than we usually see but great effect on this one. The grain reminds me a bit of my BE Annuals...
