Mnandi: My latest Obsession

My second Desert Ironwood Mnandi arrived yesterday. This one has much more variation in the wood compared to my first one which is more straight grained.

Love the collection shot 2Dead. You're right, some nice grain on the new one, plus it has the new pivot screw.

Macassar Ebony. The dealer had three in Ebony. One Gabon in S30V and two Macassar .... one ladder and one raindrop damascus. I liked the ladder better, so that's what I snapped up. Just glad I didn't spend too much time thinking about it because all three were gone in no time at all!

I purchased it from Shanti in March 2011 and have been using as my edc. I believe the jigged rosewood might have been yours at one time as well.
Outstanding pair there btw.

Indeed, an envious collection of mnandis Dinokay ... btw, what type of wood inlay is on the zebra stripe mnandi?

BUT!, it's a collection to be proud of AND to be envious of :thumbup:

Dino, I just fell off my chair...dragged myself back up, one hand on my laptop, another to brace myself. My dear. Amazing! I had to look again. Like staring into the recent "ring of fire" eclipse out West. Perfection defined by image!
