I pondered just a little too long when I saw two of these at TNK. Both were snapped up very quickly. However .... Lisa recently decided to let hers go and now my Ebony Mnandi has company!!

Those are incredible! I never seemed to care that much for them - I was always just a Sebenza guy. But then one day they suddenly appealed to me and I picked up a Tamboti...absolutely love it! Just cut myself with it this morning. I literally drip blood for these babies!

Certainly do. I had been wanting to find an ivory ever since I got the macassar ebony. Just fortunate to be its new owner!!

Thanks. While I am not anywhere near being in the same league as some here who have absolutely phenomenal collections, have plans for two more. One snakewood and one box elder. Last time I checked with CRK, they are still a ways off from being completed. Shared some msgs on the Spyderco.com forum with the guy who supplies CRK with all of the snakewood Chris uses. He only gives CRK the best and it is some gorgeous stuff!

That is one sweet looking Mnandi. I find that Bocote varies quite a bit in grain and coloring. That is definitely one of the great looking ones (IMO).

Due to some recent CRK purchases, my Mnandi collection went from 12 to 9.
Current line up:

Hey guys, what wood is that in right column third down with the vertical pattern? Walnut?

I think I may order one now, should be here for Xmas!
