Mnandi or small?

The Mnandi can literally ride along in a shirt breast pocket without comment in a suit-and-tie office - I have done it. The only downside is that you might find the Mnandi just a little too small to use easily (I do, or almost).

A clipless wood inlay small Sebenza (in a pocket, maybe inside a calfskin pouch to keep the lint out and coins and keys away from the edge where the bottom is open) comes across as a very refined knife and probably is almost as low-profile, with better ergos (IMO/YMMV).

Or...you knew this was coming...get both. In the worst case, resale value is good (especially if you buy pre-owned to start with).

I lean toward an Ubejane in a custom kydex shoulder rig for an office environment. ;)

It's called Box Elder and it comes in many different grain styles, some circular like and some linear like (as in mine)...some have blond colors some have some reddish hues.

Here are my Mnandis. Top to bottom they are Desert Ironwood, Camel Thorn, Mammoth Ivory, and Lignum Vitae.

Thanks. I think I really like Box Elder. :-)

Mnandi would be my recommendation. Does pretty much what a small can, easily carried, dressy, and sheeple friendly.

The Mnandi is a super nice knife and sufficient in the ofice environment.
If you like the idea with the SAK look, maybe a Mnandi with Bloodwood scale could do the trick!
