I emailed CRK the pics and asked what it was. They said they are not certain but its either cocobolo or bloodwood. Will they know for sure if I send them it? or they will just guess? lol.

I'm sure they'll know. It's much easier to distinguish in the hand than in a pic.

I strongly support Cocobolo. Mine (on the left) has also black "stripes" and the cracks in the wood surface.

those lines on the bloodwood that looks like scratches, does your cocobolo have them also at a certian angle?
