Today I got a package in the mail marked "Leather Goods". It contained an elaborate sheath with a steel stiffener inside.
It's a Condor Puerto Rican machete that I have to teach to speak Portuguese.
Here it is with a 12 inch Ontario for scale. This is one wicked looking blade. I'll be giving this one a workout soon. It may even take over as my official kitchen coconut splitter.
