Made this up for his Becker Machax.

This one got the works. He wanted a pouch. I made this one as an experiment out of some very heavy scrap leather. It is totally overbuilt and I thought it looked like a pregnant goat. He liked it so I don't have to make another.

The strap has an extra rectangular ring or whatever on it for attaching a smaller knife.

Dude youve got talent. I am impressed. Looks very nice. Pregnant goat huh? I dont think so....:D

Very nice! What would ya charge to make somethin similar for an M-43 from HI. With an accesory pouch to hold a fire kit.

Ilbruche,

That looks great! Just for some background, I have wanted a Machax for a long time... My wife bought me about a month ago as a gift. I love the knife, but didn't like the sheath on my leg. I saw the baldric that Doc-Canada wears and asked Ilbruche if he could make something like it... apparently he can... Definitely inspired by Doc-Canada!

Man, thats pretty Il'B. No spot for a nessie though. Just sayin.

Fiddleback,

LOL, actually there is... its the rectangular buckle on the front, specifically designed for that purpose!

BTW - That nessie has not left my belt for the last 2 days, loving it... It spent the day opening mulch bags and cutting twine.

Perfect. Great to know. Keep me posted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looks quite excellent. The storage pouch, and its ability to be taken off is pure genius.

I love that idea. I used to carry a large blade like that, but I only used 550 cord. Your version is outstanding though.

IB, you're a leather ninja. What more can you say? Sweet rig.

Spooky - You got that right, Ilbruche is the leather ninja badger! There are those artists, craftsman, or musicians that make you know they are special, I feel that way about the Fiddleback knife I just got, and I feel that way about all of Ilbruche's work that I have held or seen... I'd ask him to rehandle my toothbrush and make a sheath for it if I thought he would.... Good guy to do business with too, IMHO.

DAmn! That is one sweet looking rig.

DAmn! That is one sweet looking rig. (Oh did I just say that? :o)

Luckily my Machax is tucked away in a drawer, because if it wasn't and it saw this....................... Let's just say there would no rest for yours truly.

Doc (wiping his brow)

Needless to say, I just saved every picture to my hard drive for one day, when I start to work with leather.

Again, superb work!
