I have a pretty cool field knife for sale in Mod A8 steel. It was heat treated by me in my kiln, cryo treated and triple tempered to 58-59 rc. Blade length is 5 1/2 inches, .180 thick blade. Over all length is 10 1/4 inches. Handle is black canvas micarta with green g10 liners. I’m asking 220 shipped, conus only. It comes with a taco style kydex sheath, with a leather belt loop. https://imgur.com/gallery/4KSA7tT PayPal preferred. Nettemarie_7@hotmail.com. This knife comes with a write your own warranty. It’s tough as hell!

Sweet deal! Awesome blade!

Have you ever thought about doing a destruction test? I bet it would be bullet proof
I’ve tested a couple to destruction. They held up very well. I’m impressed by the toughness of this steel. I test everything I make before it’s sold. This is a good choice for a stout field knife.

Do you work with s7 at all?
I’ve made a couple tomahawks from s7. It’s a simple and relatively straightforward heat treat. But I haven’t tested it as thoroughly as other steels. My favorite steel I’m using right now is ztuff. That’s some really good steel right there!

Someone make an offer, I’m open to reasonable offers. I would like to get some of my work out, so I can get more feedback. Thanks.
