• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

But I have seen the fixed blades as well.

I have never used, nor held one in my hand.

So I guess I don’t have much of an opinion

I've seen that Klingon knife. I am appalled it won bestknife at 2001 Blade Show. What a crock! I'm sure the steel is fine, but that design has got to go. Please.....blade catcher spikes on the guard?!?!

I had a chance to handle one of these knives, along with some other MOD designs, and I am not impressed. It's not that they're necessarilly bad knives. Well...not if they were asking oh, about 1/3 the price.
The point is this...you should get what you pay for. And, in my ever so humble opinion, it's just not there.
I hope this helps, but be sure to get some other opinions. I just wouldn't spend my hard-earned scratch on it.

put it this way,

i bought one because it was on sale for like $180, had it for a 2 days and sold it to a guy that still thinks chicks dig knives.

haven't sold any of my striders yet.

Thanks all for the reply and not blasting me for asking about
non-Strider knive in this forum.
I was a bit intrigued by the design of this knife, but now I can
see it is more form than function overall, (and maybe a bit too
Klingon afterall)!>
I think I will go for another Strider this time round<

Also I have to say to Mick Strider thanks so much for go ahead on that
kerambit! --one of my alltime fav style, keep up your awesome work and
design!
If anyone can let me know when I can get ahold of one of those
kerambit please let me know!
Thanks!

btw, Cooper , I coudnt say it better myself!!:p

please don't get me wrong, that MOD was a relatively well crafted blade, and you do get a hammering butt .

just that it was way too loud for my taste, even for a combat / tactical / whatever design.
a klingon knife's a very spot-on description. i hv a feeling most MODs sold never actually get used.

You mean the one that won in 2001 and I think thier just starting to go into production? :D

Best thing I can say . . . "It's interesting"
