MOD Ayoob Razorback

hkbladelawhk, awesome! You absolutely must give a review of the Stinger when you get it. No torture test or anything, just want to know about sharpness out of the box, thickness, fit and finish, and quality..that is whenever you find the time and don't mind.

I never had a kabar, but I've always wanted the bigger ATAC. I just couldn't justify it's purchase, because I had thought it had a thinner blade than what that site now lists...although it always did seem awfully sharp.

I'll gladly write a review...gosh, I've gotta stop buying knives...

SIFU1A,
When you talked about the sharpness, did you mean how sharp it was when you first got it? :) ..

Also, do you know a store besides ebay, where I could get one for around 75-100 brand new. I've been searching around and they seem to go for 120-160.

Man, so many knives to buy this month...so many...

unless ya reprofile the thing its not going to be razor sharp, sharp enough to slash/etc yes, but its not as sharp as i was expecting (or wanting).

i would not pay over $120 for one, too many other knives that are better, i have seen them for sale on this forum in LNIB shape for less than $100, $70 IIRC was the cheapest i have seen.

if ya dont want the LFI logo reprofile the thing and it'll be gone lol, didnt matter to me, i always counted the fact that ayoob designed it a "con" lol, i love to read his stuff, but the days of me thinking he is an "expert" on much of anything are long gone, still enjoy his stuff though, FWIW thoughthis other design (ayoob folder) was funky.

I wonder how well the Ayoob Razorback would hold up in water...like if i were to wear it jetskiing, then wash it off...this assuming I actually get it lol...I LOVE MOD

I have the Mark V and it is the one of the most violent looking knifes I own and makes a perfect partner to my nemesis lmax tomahawk. It is a very strong and sharp knife and I am yet to see a picture that makes you fully appreciate this knife. I have been thinking about getting the Razorback for a while now and rate it pretty high.

just got my razorback, the sheath is too damn tight..., nice knife though....im afraid to use the sheath, its been scratching it...hints?

loosening the screws loosened mine.

I tried that, it just loosened the belt clip...its becoming looser as I put it in and outta the sheath...i just dont want the sheath to **** up my blade...
