Tried to log in today and got message
Bladeforums error
IP Address has been banned

Was able to log in with username and password on wife’s phone so know account isn’t banned

Please unban my IP address or help me figure out the problem

I'm not aware of any IP address being banned. But, this sounds like an item for @Spark

Restart did the trick
Not the sharpest “knife” in the drawer when it comes to IP technology
 
The issue is, there are old IP's that have been banned or blacklisted for whatever reason..Distant past type of thing.
When someone uses DHCP, once in awhile, they will run into one of these banned IP's. Rebooting normally takes care of it because the computer/device gets issued another IP..but not always. Sometimes, you have to force the ISP to reissue another IP address depending on how their IP leases work out, device type..etc.

You can google or use your favorite search engine to figure out how to force the ISP to issue another IP address if you are on DHCP.
