Mod JYD II & Speed Bump G10 to tip up carry?

my try at changing to tip up. Picked this clip because it curves with the shape of the handle. I did find out after drilling/tapping that the liner is skeletonized and therefore only one of the clip screws goes thru the liner.

If you plan to keep it that way, perhaps take off the opposite scale and put a bit of JB weld on the screw that is not in the liner? It looks good, hows it carry?

it is tight enough as is. I will carry it more often like this and prefer the smaller size of the clip.

Nice mod! I have converted a few Kershaws to tip-up carry; Vapor I, Vapor II, and Mini Task (a serrated blem). I have a blem Avalanche that I want to convert to tip-up carry sometime soon. One thing that I learned back in the day working at a metal spinning company is that stainless steel needs to be drilled/machined at a very slow speed, as it work hardens at higher speeds. Keep that in mind, and you should have good luck with it.
