MOD- kick a$$ customer service

Earlier this month I called MOD about warranty repair for a CQD Mk2 that had alot of top to bottom play. After all, I'd need a return authorization #, needed to know how much to send for return shipping, etc.

I wound up talking to "Steve" who could care less about a RA#, and when asked about return shipping he specifically told me not to send ANY money for it. to paraphrase a bit he said "it's our defective knife, it's our problem to get it fixed and returned to you"

So I sent the knife out on the 11th of February
just today (the 25th of February) I was sent a NIB replacement that has PERFECT lock-up and action.

I am impressed to say the least! This is definitely the best customer service I've ever recieved from a knife company.

Feel kinda strange giving a referral to a production knife company, but I gotta give credit where it's due here....

Damn I'm a happy man! :D :D
