mod made by microtech?

found some old mod(master of defend) point man auto shows that it was made by microtech?
is that true? or any info?

I bought a MOD CQB knife back around 2000 and it was probably the worst knife I ever owned.

I had a MOD Scorpion neck knife that is probably even worse. I tried sharpening it and the factory angle was steeper than some huge cleavers I own.

The button lock on mine wouldn’t keep the knife locked. I sent it back and when they returned it, it looked like they dremel’d a notch in the button lock. And it still didn’t lock the blade back. I threw that knife in my junk drawer. Still have it in a box somewhere.

i think pointman were the most popular one?and they are now in reasonable price second-hand.

Don’t know. I know it was a garbage knife though. One of the inserts in the handle started to peel and they didn’t even address that when the knife was in.

the following question:
as mod decleared their knives were made by turnamics factory in north carolina,while,as well known, microtech knives made in vero beach florida until 2005.
is there any mistake?
or shall we assume that microtech outsoursed some of there business to turnamics at that time?
