MOD Tempest owners

I dug out my tempest out the other night and noticed a very small hole in the blade just past the edge of the handle. Is this the spring hole for the auto blade? It's a small hole, looks about .030".
 
I think its a notch where the ceramic ball rest to keep the knife in the closed position...

I sold mine so I can't check the knife...

Joel is correct. All the MOD folders have this as do the MicroTechs

Clocker, I'm sorting through piles of information and knives preparing for a purchase. Please share your impressions of that knife. I've very much like to hear some first hand observations from a current owner. Thanks.

The only MOD knife I have is the Tempest. At
first look and feel, a name seems to appear in ones mind (Microtech). I like the way it feels in the hand, sharp-blade

. I think they are about a step behind Microtech but show a lot of similar (quality) features. The MOD's are a great value right now. If you look you can find some super prices. Hope this helps
