Today, I’m letting go of a Spyderco Rescue 3.
I’ve had this as a left over from my volunteer firefighting years.
It’s been modified to have a “wave” like feature. Done by me.
The cuts are nice, straight, clean, and de-burred.
Can easily be waved on the edge of any pocket or waist band or backpack, or pulled out normally. It’s effective.
The mod doesn't effect thumb opening or middle flicking at all. It doesn't poke you, or accidentally deploy when you don’t want.
It’s been in my backpack in a sheath a lot, but never used.
It’s clean, sharp, centers perfectly, smooth on the drop, and no damage anywhere.
There is the smallest wear on the clip (shown in picture) and some very light “scuffs” on the clip side of the blades flat area as well. Very hard to see.
Factory edge, no damage or any corrosion, everything is like it came from the factory.
I’ve done this on other spyderco models and have loved it over the years. I just never used this one and it doesn't end up in my pocket at all.
Overall the knife is 95% new, with my “wave” mod on it. No box. So I understand this is a strange creature.
I’m asking $65.00 to your door.
Only trade I would entertain would be for just about any model of Delica
