This is modeled after one of my early knives. I still carry and use the original [about 7 years now] and have sold quite a few of these by doing so. I've used mine in the shop, in the woods, on the river bank, on the bench and in the kitchen. Big knife performance from a small, easy-carry package. Your thoughts and comments are welcome!!

Hollow ground from 1/8" 01 tool steel.
Hardness: 58-59
Overall: 6 7/8"
Blade: 3 3/4" 600 grit on the flats, fine Scotchbrite on the grinds.
Handle: Buckeye Burl w/ black paper liners. 2 recessed ss pins
Sheath: Hand stitched & tooled. 7-8 oz. leather, designed to ride quite high so it does'nt drag on the car seat.:thumbup:

Paypal preferred. SOLD to your door, shipping and pp fees included.[US lower 48, other locations may be extra]

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

I'll try to get an 'in-hand' pic posted later today.

Thanks for lookin'!!

Mr. Dewey,

Are you sure it's not 7 7/8 overall? 6 7/8 would leave it with kind of a stubby handle,
like 3 1/8", and it doesn't look stubby. It is one seriously fine looking piece!

Sorry for the delay, guys. I've been dealing w/ back issues and slower than usual. [if that's possible]

Zuchus, thanks for asking. Yes, this is just a little guy and the measurments are correct. Take a look at the in-hand pics for a better idea of size.

E-mail sent to you. This is a great and beautiful little package. Nice work.
Can't wait to hear back from you.

I'm glad to be the recipient of my first Dewey knife. Even nicer in my hand Randy! Great work. Thanks.

I asked Randy to make me another sheath for this knife as I was uncomfortable with the high rider version that came with it. Randy you craft a beautiful sheath. Both of these sheaths are real outstanding. Your knife is a great piece of work and these sheaths are perfect mates to it.
