Mike,

Looks like you'll be passing right through my neck of the woods, and a long drive at that. I live in Lubbock, TX and 70 passes right through Plainview, about 45 miles north of here. I actually grew up and my folks still live about 5 miles south of 70 in a little place called Hale Center. Too bad we'll be heading out in the opposite direction that same day. We're going out to Branson, MO with the camper for a long weekend. Maybe we'll pass along the way. If so, I'll be sure to wave! :D Where are you guys headed?

Great job. Beautiful knife.

Really don't know. But probably go to Rifle, Co. first. I will also be dragging my camper with me. Were going to be gone 17 days.So we hope to move around quite a bit.

Unless we're talking about different highway 70's. There's the little 70 through Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico, and there's the big brother 70 through St. Louis, Kansas City, and Devner.

Regardless, I hope you have a wonderful vacation.

If your taking I-40 thru Asheville N.C. be sure to beep, I live in Leicester just north of Aville. Beautiful knife BTW and nice sheath also.
Be safe and have fun and may God bless you every step of the way,
Lee

Beautiful looking knife!

What is the blade made from? This may be a dumb question but is it damascas or something else?

Do you have any pictures from the top showing the tang with handle and the top edge of the blade?

Hey Mike,

Just wanted to say that I got this in today's mail and it is beautiful, as usual. I see what you mean by being comfortable in the hand. That thumb rest on the spine really makes for a solid and comfortable grip. Good looking stag, perfect fit on the sheath, sharp as a razor.......all the quality things one can expect from a Wilson knife. A fantastic blade!

Thanks again,
