The four 50th Anniversary of the Hunter 110 models:

Images courtesy of KnifeCenter, an authorized dealer.

Lochsa, G10, S30V, Matte Finish Nickel Silver, Pocket Clip, Thumb Stud (Lochsa is the Post Falls, Idaho Street where Buck is currently located):

Weld, 420 HC (Weld Blvd. El Cajon, CA former factory location):

Federal, 440C, Slim, Mcassar Ebony (Federal St. East San Diego, CA former factory location):

Magnolia, 440C, Mcassar Ebony, Square Corners (Magnolia Avenue El Cajon, CA former factory location):

The four different knives are each named after street names where four different Buck factories were once located and produced the model 110. The Lochsa is a concept knife from the current operating Buck Factory in Post Falls, Idaho.

Looks like we need some answers.

The Federal shown has no tang stamp at all. The blade also seems to be shaped differently than the others.

I realize it is 440C, but is the blade an actual duplicate of the first 110s--and made with NO tang stamp?

These are some of the first images of knives not yet produced. Production is expected in the fourth quarter of this new year. KnifeCenter provides the images. With 500 of each model not everyone will be getting one anyway regardless of what you think of the early pictures.

Maybe Buck can tell us what they are going to produce. Seems like they should know and be able to tell us even if they can't provide pictures.

We should be understanding about the confusion with the pictures.

They've only had 50 years to get ready for this.

Thanks for the pictures Steve. I didn't know there were four different versions...
I really like the Lochsa. I hadn't heard of that one before. I think I would like it better without the thumb stud though.
I went to KC to pre-order, and then I saw the price  Gonna have to give that some thought. With small quantities, a person can't wait for long though

Isn't the Lochsa the bomb! I love it. A concept knife from the current factory in Post Falls.

When in Idaho I was told that this four knife project was a labor of love and a money losing proposition. It is for enthusiasts by the cognizanti. These are heady times that we are living in now. Cutlery dreams at your beckon call. Yes. Score!

I'd love to see the Lochsa in full production. It would be a great user.

No kidding. You called and I second that motion. I hope that a full production would get the unit cost down a bit. You know, however, I've spent $ before (I ordered the new Buck Marksman 830 flipper unseen and price unknown).

Would love to see a version of the Lochsa in full production! Nothing against the other knives in the set, I'll buy them all of possible. But, the Lochsa, if done in a reasonable price could really bring the 110 to a new generation who wants pocket clip and one handed opening. Could be a game changer.

Agreed, all 4 are nice, but the Lochsa REALLY changes what we think of, when we think 110.
I really think after all these years, it is time for a new, updated version. Obviously keep the original configuration, but nothing wrong with having a more modern version. The younger crowd, who may not be apt to really give the 110 much thought, would probably take note of the Lochsa, and that could
also lead to the purchasing of other Buck knives, once they became aware of all the choices that are available...

The lochsa looks awesome. The one thing I don't like is the thumb stub. I wouldn't even mind the clip. But I wouldnt pay that much for a secondary knife.

The Shot Show is next week in Vegas where cutlery, and other gear, premiers.

I expect that would be an event that could loosen up more info on the 2014 product line and these four models in particular.

I wonder if the nation wide Buck extravaganza campaign will kick off then. The tension is palpable.

Thank you kindly Chris for your work posting that PDF. WTG. I've failed many times over trying to post a pdf pic. In spite of help from a capable forum member. My Windows 8 is a fierce competitor when I try to use the computer. Like an employee who punches you in the face when you are sweating out the work...

took a screenshot
uploaded the screenshot to photobucket, and then posted the link.
