Model 110 50th Anniversary Knives, Four Models: Lochsa, Weld, Federal & Magnolia

Thanks for the heads up on these. I'm not a regular poster in this sub forum but actually stopped in to see if there was any news about the anniversary 110. Good timing :)

I've done some digging around with search but can't get to exactly what I'm wondering: is there a generally accepted "golden age" model of the 110? I like the looks of both the "Federal" and "Magnolia" but not sure which to select. My only 110 to date is from 2007.

Thanks for any info.

I ordered the new Buck Marksman 830 flipper unseen and price unknown).

Oregon, I like the looks the new 830 marksman with its 3 1/2" Drop Point Blade with 154CM steel... Overall Length is 8 1/4"...
The Weight is only 4.0 oz... It has Aluminum Anodized Black Handles... and the price is not bad...
I think I'm going to get one to and i'm not in to Tactical knives... I just like the way it locks up... But it does look Cool...

ITE ...

830 Marksman...

Well it's a scary proposition considering the prices but I just pulled the trigger and ordered mine. Can't let this opportunity slip by. Does anyone know the what, when and how of the box set? Can these be ordered straight through Buck or the Pro site?

Speaking of the Pro Site, does anyone know when it might be updated with the new 2014 offerings that are in the new catalog?

Where did you see this?

The 2014 Buck Dealer Catalog has this picture in it.

If you are a dealer then you have this newest catalog already.

Larry Oden, BCCI potentate, forum member and dealer has it in PDF format. Would you like it? If so please email me.

BCCI members will receive a full color printed dealer catalog shortly. I am on pins and needles anticipating its arrival into my hot little hands.

From Larry Oden emailed pdf (I did it, converted pdf to jpg, :)):

See your authorized Buck Dealer for the box set (you have email).

I doubt that these, due to limited quantity, will ever make it to the Pro Site. But it is a jumbled up mixed up world and you never really can predict the future with any certainty. I would give the factory store a telephone call about the Four 110s to see if they can be ordered there.

The Buck Factory store, with Pro Site pricing, has the 2014 110 (the one bargain one with the plate imbedded into the wood scale), both plain and finger groove variants, in stock and I was able to put them into my basket now that the New Year is here.

You have a Dealer Catalog already ITE. You lucky fellow you. @#$%^

The VP of Buck Knives, the fellow pictured here, cut finger attacked by Craig's ultra dangerous knife, was carrying the prototype in his pocket when I was at the factory last Summer. I handled the 3D Printer resin version of this knife. The hook was set into me then. So it is Marksman or die for yours truly. No sales resistance. None. I don't gotta be the first one to own one but, on the other hand, I have no patience at all so I am trapped on this one. It does look the business and what a departure for Buck. Many here and elsewhere applaud Buck for innovating in this direction. WTG Buck. Keep up the good work. WTG.

ugh also in late 14 for early 15 will be a factory automatic version of the 110!!
I don't know why they did not include it in the 50th year catalog
but they did not but
it is great to finely be able to own a factory switchblade 110

Yep, as Oregon said, a pdf file from Larry Oden. Then captured a screenshot to post it.

DesertChris, thanks for this shot. I hope I'm one of the lucky 110 to get one of these displays.

My pleasure. I just wish I could spend the loot on that set. It is a collection all by itself!
Check out the last sentence of the description, 110 of them will be made......

Dang! That just might replace one of my Vantages in my EDC.

I am curious to know how Scott Cook feels about Buck using the name of his folder as their own?

Well, as of October 2nd he stopped taking orders for the Lochsa so I'm sure all that has been settled to everyone's satisfaction, and he probably feels very good about it.
