This is my model 15 strraight blade hunter.

It is 1095 steel. It has been clay coated and quenched for a nice hamon. The spine has also been fileworked down it's length.

The handle is linen micarta with a canvas micarta bolster. It is held in place with several brass pins and one mosaic pin.

The sheath is designed for in the pocket carry. I rarely carry a knife on my belt anymore, because I like this design so much better. The knife fits in the right hand pocket, doesnt get caught on things, and is so out of the way, that I sometimes forget that I am carrying a knife at all.

The dimensions are as follows:
Blade - 4" tip to handle
OAL - 8"

Price - $155 shipped in the US. I prefer paypal to mlwbailey@yahoo.com, but will also accept checks and money order.

The first "I'll take it" gets it.

That is one of the nicest designs I've seen for a long time.

Matthew if you feel like making another one of these drop me a line first.

Ditto. Maybe in D2?
This is a steal for a really great looking knife.
<drooling over company bonus I get this week>

Thanks all. I dont mess too much with D2. I like to do all my stuff in house, and D2 is finicky with the heat treat. I will probably be making more similar knives in the not too distant future.

Mathew, Man you are killing me. I have yet to see anything you have made that is not awesome! I've either got to get faster or just email you .. lol.

$155....wow. That is extremely nice. I need another fixed blade like I need a hole in the head but would have grabbed this one in a heartbeat.

Love the blade shape on this one.

It has all the classic Bailey trademarks, yet every new knife has some unique twist.

I swear---SOME DAY I'm going to be the first one to check one of your sale posts and actually get my chance. I've been trying to get a piece of your work for a year!

Me too, MangaMonster!

Matt, please make more! And a belt loop sheath too, or a clip that will handle a 1.5" inch belt!
