The Model 2 is machined from a solid bar of D2 steel then ground by hand. It is solid from the tip to the butt including the double guard. 1/4" blade thickness and 1 1/4" blade depth. False top edge. The micarta handles are removable with a hex key for maintenance or refinishing.

Very nice and interesting, appears this version has a bit of recurve in the design. I have one of his original runs that were made w/440c and the appearance more closely resembles a Randall model 15. These are certainly solid well built knives and a great deal on this one, GLWS!

Yes I have to agree. My Wilson Tactical (wilson combat) model one looks like this. It is also 440c but I’m not sure if they come in different steels.

Ok ya I looked up the info along time ago. Mine looks like the model 2 and the info I had saved matches the model 2. Sorry about that. Lemme know if you guys think so looks like I need to drop the price.
