This is my first post ever here. I've been lurking a few days, and there are some very pretty knives. This place beats the snot out of ebay. This knife is the one I've been waiting to post for, so I could say:

I'll take it.

But I am a newbie, so please tell me what the next step is.

Thanks.

Email or PM him and let him know that you want it if you haven't already! I'm sure he'll get back to you!

Nice score for your first buy. Where in Tejas are you? I am in the DFW metromess.

Hey Bob, I'm just south of Austin, just north of San Marcos. I lived up there for years until '99. Just buried my father in law up there last weekend. DFW is a mess. Even Denton is feeling it. Stay home and out of the traffic.

And yeah, how does a bone breaker notch work? I better find out before I do it all wrong.

I think the idea is that you put the small bone of a squirrel or rabbit in the notch and break it. It would protect the blade edge from any type of damage that the small bone might do. It might also keep the bloody bone from slipping and causing you to cut yourself. I have one of Davids wharncliffe design knives, and they are sharp.

I am currently in S.A.. I will be making the dreaded drive up 35 to the metromess tomorrow. Sorry about your Father in law.

Bob
