Scales: Weathered , Stabilized elk antler with black liners, ss screws, ss lanyard hole liner, rawhide lanyard with white tail antler slider
Sheath: Tooled cowhide, oiled and waxed.

You won't regret it. I loaned one of David's Model 12's to a guy on a hunt and could not pry it out of his hands. He said "You know how to get another one".
I had to order another one when I got home.

Doc, your replacement will go in the mail this morning. I hope to get some of these new model 26's posted by the end of the week.

I wish everyone was an elk hunter. I just delivered two knives yesterday to a customer who was on his way to Colorado tomorrow to go elk hunting. He had to replace the two knives he bought last year. Seems that the guides kept them. Is this traditional? If the guide gets you an elk he gets to keep your knife? If so, I think this is a nice custom:D
