We were around Schulenburg, TX (about halfway between Houston and San Antonio) Texas is full of hogs -- they reproduce like rabbits and have very few natural predators, so they're everywhere.

Got to do a little hog hunting last night... We came up w/three, two of them went in the freezer.

I used a Rat to skin 'em (safari skinner).

We hoped for more hogs, but it was definitely a fun night...

A Rat skinned the HOG???? . . . .Oh, the injustice!!!!!!. . . . .

Now I'm gonna have to kill a Rat and skin it with a HOG blade in order to get the universe back in balance!!!!! :thumbup:

This assumes 2 things.
1) that you can catch and kill a Rat.
2) that you have a knife tough enough to skin it

Leave it to Boss Hog to find the irony of a rat skinning a Hog. I thought it was just that I liked the big belly on the safari skinner --- but maybe it was the Leaner's reluctance to participate in such a task that kept her sheathed

We didn't scrape these, just cleaned them and quartered them... 2 weeks ago we caught 2 50lbs sows in a trap - they're the kind that work really well whole...
