I just noticed a new attempt to single out BF members with a flag called "Moderator Tools" has been created. Of course, as said, this is not the first time BF has
gone out of its' way to identify and expose "high risk" members and needlessly embarrass them for tiny and minor infractions by crossing the most thinnest line.

As in the past, I have to wonder what BF fears from it's members and what is to gain by exposing members to ridicule and criticism.

What kind of high-risk members are being persecuted (my word, but consistent with your post) on BF: trans members, members of color, homeless members, members who love Chinese knives? I'm kinda curious.

rdave rdave That is only there so you can view your warnings.
why wouldn't I just go to my my profile page if needed to see these warnings?
Also, I see the points values for 2 infractions have been changed - who changed those points? The total point values on the bottom of the page no longer ads up to the point values that were recently changed.

If you don't need a member on the forum, wouldn't it be easier just telling member to get out instead of doing all of this silly BS.

In 2017 there was 4 points assigned for "not following the rules" - no explanation or who handed them out - and have now been changed to 10 points. 2014 4 points assigned for "interfering with exchange thread" - no explanation or who assigned the points - which as now been changed to a 10 point charge.

I know. As usual, palms up. I would be embarrassed too.

The last warning you received expired five years ago. The points, if assessed, had expiration dates. Some of your warnings were simply verbal with no points assessed.

The moderators don't huddle up and decide to give an infraction...they usually only get together on either a major issue, or if they are uncertain what the best way would be to deal with a matter.

I think you're making a tempest in a teapot. You were never close to being banned from the site.

you are probably right. but something like this occurred before, to seemingly make info public for purpose of embarrassing members - it's wrong
