Moderator Tools

why wouldn't I just go to my my profile page if needed to see these warnings?

I would assume viewing one’s own warnings under the “Moderator Tools” dropdown is a design choice in the Xenforo software itself or an addon. It just uses a limited view of an existing mod menu, so the title seems odd if one doesn’t know that.

I need something a little stronger after this unnecessary drama.

Funny. I asked where this is coming from. No one had an answer - including you. Palms up?

If you don't know where it is how would I know what it is? It's new without an explanation.

You could have simply provided an explanation or pointed me toward some information so I could understand.

Being that mods have different tools and settings at their disposal which affects their user interface, it makes sense that they may not be on the up and up on what an actual user sees when they're logged in. Hence the initial confusion by everyone.

Once you showed what you were talking about, it was then explained what you were seeing and that no one else can see it but you.

Considering the initial and continued accusatory tone over a nothing burger, I don't blame a guy for needing a beer or something a little stronger.

Chill out, mate. No one is out to get you.

Haven't had any warnings yet, so not familiar with how they can be viewed, but seems like this is just another way to see them. Not sure what else there is to know about it.🤷‍♂️ There certainly doesn't seem to be anything nefarious about it.

You didn’t ask anything in your initial post, it was nothing but accusations towards BF’s and the mod staff.
You could have simply provided an explanation or pointed me toward some information so I could understand.
I couldn’t give an explanation since there wasn’t a question, again, nothing but accusations.

You posted on April 22nd, I replied same day.

You finally followed up on May 3rd and clarified what you were talking about.

Until then, nobody could give you an explanation or provide information because nobody knew what the hell you were talking about.

Seems like a classic case of Russian disinformation to me. (I wonder if he's on a laptop...?)

(It's a joke folks, let's not travel down any political or conspiracy rabbit holes, thank you.)

Exactly. Plus the flag for troublemakers looks way different anyway.

I see. I guess the term "Moderator Tools" didn't provide you with a big enough clue to figure it out.

Sorry, Dave, you don't get to take your ball and go home with the last word.

This is what we saw when we first came upon this thread:

I just noticed a new attempt to single out BF members with a flag called "Moderator Tools" has been created. Of course, as said, this is not the first time BF has
gone out of its' way to identify and expose "high risk" members and needlessly embarrass them for tiny and minor infractions by crossing the most thinnest line.

As in the past, I have to wonder what BF fears from it's members and what is to gain by exposing members to ridicule and criticism.

Is it any wonder that we had no idea WTF you were going on about? We even PM'd one another to try to make some sense of the rant.

Now, I think I'll close this with the last word. (Unless Boru13 Boru13 would like to opine.)

I’m not in the habit of wasting my time on unfounded accusations, I figured I’d let you explain yourself.

Oh, in case you’re wondering how I can post in your thread after you closed it… it’s one of the “Moderator Tools” at my disposal.
