hey everybody
been a little while, but i am getting back on the horse. i have this little friction folder finished and i have two more very similar ones almost done (one in Kevlar and one in green G10). it is made as a working/edc knife, though it shouldn't be used for prying as it has a fine tip.

The scales are Madagascar ebony with a satin finish.
Blade is hollow ground 01 tool steel that has been triple tempered for a resilient blade. the last tempering cycle was done after the final grind to give it the gold look.
Turned stainless steel fittings (screws too) and bronze washers.

Asking $120 shipped. Please contact me via PM or at Knifemaker87@gmail.com

thanks for looking!

Very nice to see you here again, your style is very unique. I would be all over this but am looking for the ones with tougher scales. Are you going to be doing any frame or liner locks? Martin

thank you sir! it is good to be back.

I do have two others that a very similar. one is G10 and the other is Kevlar. so that may be more resilient. I also have to Ti liner locks i am working on. but those will be a good bit more expensive

here are all the friction folders before final polish and handle contouring. the Carbon fiber one is finished and sold.

nice lines on those knives. not really a fan of friction folders, and will be interested in seeing your liner locks.

I would love to see the knife sell, however dont settle for anything. I will be having some more knives coming out. what kind of thing were you looking for? cause i have some of just about everything "just about done"

here are where the Ti folders are at. i had raindrom damascus blades on them, but then the steel turned out to be too mild to heat treat. so i amd prolly just going to go with O1 blades. unless you like them and want to provide some damascus for the blades

i like the blade profile, making one continuous curve from the scales. i also noticed you countersunk the pivot screws for the one on the right, looks great.

they are actually both counter sunk on the "heavy" side. i made the mistake of making them mirror image of each other. the "thin side will be getting a scale and bolster, while the heavy side will just be shaped titanium. so the pivot screws will be either countersunk or hidden. i havent decided whether i will be making them as a right hand and left hand or if i will just do the lock in the "thin" side of one to keep them both right handers.

thoughts?

Yea, both pivot screws definitely have to be countersunk. So there will be a bolster only on one side? right-handed would be the popular vote I think, with left-handers upon request. I looked at the photos of your work linked from your site, and I must say your blades are great. It's inspiring to see someone this deep into the trade, given your age. Keep up the good work man. Hard to think about what to have made, you've got a wide range.
