Modern Medicine is wonderful!

Steroid epidurals are the only treatment that allows me to live a somewhat normal life. But the relief is only temporary and quite often has to be repeated. When the effects wear off it can get very demoralizing and depressing. You fall into a cycle of pain relief pain relief and it's a roller coaster ride that isn't very fun.

But you do get to a point that any relief is welcome. I hope she continues to get the relief and the steroid blocks keep working. Chronic pain will eat you up from the inside out.

What I thought was one big shot turned out to be EIGHT big shots in her back. And at this point the pain is still a 4 on a scale of 10. What she has is a type of arthritus called Facets Disease. Apparently it's pretty bad.

What's new on this Infi-del? I hope she is still seeing improvement.

Let's hope that we can find treatments or cures for the ataxia as well. We're working on it.
