I wanted to mix a little traditional styling in with my usual modern construction techniques. This is what came from that desire. This one is SOLD.
Maker- Tupper Knife & Tool
Model - Drop point Rhino
Steel - Aldo's 1084
Hardness - 59-60
Blade length - 3"
Blade thickness - 3/16"
Blade grind - Compound grind/ RH Chisel, Hollow main bevel with a slight convex tip and unsharpened swedge
Finish - Forge finish on the main bevel , swedge and spine with a hand rubbed satin on the flats
Construction type - Full tang . The tang is skeletonized to provide a nice balance point that is just in front of the forward chain ring bolt .
Handle length - 3 3/4"
Handle material - Black Micarta with red G10 liners
Hardware - Heat colored chain ring bolts
Handle texture - Hand jigged
Handle construction - Mechanical fasteners and removable scales
OAL - 6 3/4 "
Sheath - Pancake style. Black Kydex ( .060 ) with adjustable retention. Large TecLok compatible . Drilled for vertical/ horizontal / left or right hand belt carry. Also works well for inside waistband carry.
