Modern Slip Joints

TRM Atlas and Viator
BM proper
RHK slippy
MBK EWC
Kizer Zipslip
Spyderco UKPK
CRK Impinda

You can find a lot of good options in other brands too

These have been mentioned and I can give high praise to each of them. Very well made knives.
The Vipers are just a bit above the Lionsteel in my opinion, but I only have the one Lionsteel to compare against them.
As mentioned above, Collector Knives is a good source (and the only source for some of these models)

Just about everyone makes slip joints now, see bandwagon effect. Except for the strictly old timey style producers, almost all use varying degrees of modern materials, technologies and patterns.

all this talk just made me pull the trigger on a je made Phoenix

Nice! I have a Phoenix en route too! I went with the Black Ray titanium handles. Last week I took receipt of the JE Made Combustion w/desert ironwood inserts and am absolutely blown away by the quality. Feels like a custom. I’ll post pics of them together when my Phoenix comes in.

I just bought a Viper Swayback and Maserin Plow from CollectorKnives.com run by @knifeswapper love both of them I got the Blue Micarta Plow and the Bog Oak Swayback. I was hesitant on the swayback wasn't sure how the wood was going to look vs the pictures and well the pictures don't do it justice at least not compared to the one I received. I had one of the original Plow models but wanted the slimmer design of the newer model so I picked that up and I love it has basically everything I loved about the first without and the issues.

I've been look

Do you have any pics of the Swayback and Bolus together?

I remember the time when a "folder" was a slip joint, that was it for me. Lots have changed since then, I've learned to love the "liner lock", the "frame lock" RIL, etc.
Just noticed the ZT 0230 Jens Anso folder. I think I may take a look at these modern slip joints, very nice.:)
QUESTION:
Can you list other modern slip joints, that I may look at, please?
So happy to see this thread. The wave of modern slippies has really caught my eye too. But so far, the most modern slip joint I currently have is the micarta slabbed Barlow Forum Knife. I know, that's really out there. One wild and crazy guy. :D
