"Modern" slip joints

I’m a big fan of the Viper slipjoints. Full Ti frames; M390 steel; natural scales.

Also really like the Michael Zieba Heritage.

I like the Zieba too. I have the same flavor. At $325 it's a best buy for a custom. His mechanism makes it as safe as a locking blade. His heat treatment of m390 is excellent....mine hit concrete tip down but sustain only a minor teenytiny roll, no chip.

Thanks for all the photos and comments. I was not aware of many of the models. Some great looking options out there.

I have several traditional slip joints, but just purchased my first modern one last week, the Tactile Bexar. Very happy with it. Great option if you like really thin handles and blades. And the lanyard is a nice touch.

While I appreciate locking knives very much, including the innovative designs of the mechanisms, I like the relative simplicity of slip joints. This may be a new theme for my collection.

Modern slip joints? Yup, carry at least one all the time. This TwoSun TS244 is always in my pocket, M390 with real carbon fiber handles, not overlays

This TS123 also gets a lot of pocket time (top one with copper inlay)

I like them, well some of them at least.

It's nice to have slip joints with more modern stainless steels.

the most 'modern' slip joint I have is the 2018 forum buck 301 with cpm154 and stag - it's amazing

I really should take a look at some of these others, nice pics, thx
